Zuboo Unveils New Taizhou Factory, Pushing Total Annual Production Capacity Beyond 2.1 Million Electric Bicycles

Taizhou, Zhejiang–June 2022–Zuboo (formerly known as Five-Star Leopard), a leading force in China's electric two-wheeler industry, has officially inaugurated a major new production facility at its Taizhou base. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone, elevating the company's total annual production capacity across all its national bases to over 2.1 million units.

The new Taizhou facility, a zero-land technical renovation project spanning more than 30,000 square meters, became operational in early June 2022. It is equipped with three new, advanced production lines dedicated to manufacturing electric bicycles and light electric motorcycles.

This expansion comes at a pivotal time for Zuboo and the broader industry. The company reported record-breaking performance in the first half of 2022, capitalizing on nationwide policies phasing out non-compliant electric vehicles. With the new Taizhou plant online, Zuboo is strategically positioned to meet surging market demand and aggressively pursue its annual target of "dual millions" in both production and sales.

The inauguration of this facility underscores Zuboo's commitment to scaling its manufacturing prowess. The company now operates five major production bases strategically located in Taizhou, Wuxi, Tianjin, Guangxi, and Sichuan, forming a robust national supply chain network. The addition of the Taizhou plant is a core component of Zuboo's strategy to solidify its position within the industry's top tier.
